Ten fables by Ronald Duncan, each decorated with a calligraphic dropped capital by Kevin Reilly and a colour illustration by John Bratby. Signed by Duncan, Bratby and Reilly.

This book was printed, bound and finished in Cornwall by the two partners of Elephant Press. Work began in the spring of 1974 and, although dated 1975, was actually finished in the summer of 1976.

Printed in red and black on watermarked Sheepstor paper, bottom edge untrimmed. Bound in full red morocco, with gilt lettering and gilt illustration on front cover.

A near fine copy, slight discolouration to page edges, minor rubbing to back cover.
