The Defense "illuminates the motivations of Babeuf and brings
to life an extraordinary personality. It constitutes the last utterance
of a tragic being who refused to accept human misery and human injustice,
and was ready to die for his beliefs." Includes biographical

and uncut, in full leather chemise and laid into a leather and
cloth clamshell case with gilt lettering.
